This is all of the colors in the palette, I swatched the colors going from the first row from left to right, then moving to the second row. There are 32 total colors in this palette, 4 of them are diamond shades, which are basically just extra sparkly shades. This palette has a LOT of purples and blues. If you don't like purple and blue eyeshadows then I would not recommend you get this palette. |
This is the first shade in the palette. It's a dark eggplant purple, and when I swatched it the pay off was pretty good. It isn't exactly how it looks in the pot, but it is very close, and when I used it with a base (Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk) it did look a lot more like the color that is in the pot. (See Photo down below) |
This is the second shade in the first row, In the pot it looks like a blue-toned purple, but when swatched it turned out to be more purple. But when I swatched it with the base underneath it it had more of the blue tones show through. |
This is the third color in the first row, and to me it reminds me of Cinderella's dress that she wears to the ball. It's a very light pale blue with a lot of shimmer. When I swatched it without a base, it was very light, and was almost hard to see it against my pale skin. But with the white base underneath it it showed up a little bit darker and was still just as shimmery. |
This color is a taupey color, with a lot of warm gray tones in it. It's matte and comes off looking very close to what it is in the pot even without a base. With the base it just shows up a little darker. |
This shade kind of disappointed me. It's a matte black with blue and green glitters in it. But when swatched you only get one or two glitters that actually show up. With the base there seemed to be even less glitters, but the black did show up darker. This color would've been an awesome color if the glitters had shown up more. |
This color is a copper shade with a little bit more brown than orange. It's very shimmery and makes it almost look like a metalic copper, and of course with the base under it it comes off looking darker and more shimmery. |
This color looks like a really light orangey-brown and for some reason it reminds me of a pale pumpkin, maybe because I'm in the spirit of Halloween and Fall. It's a very neutral shade, and would be a great color to wear on the lid for a little bit of orange to make blue eyes pop a little more. With the base uderneath it you see more of that orange showing through. |
This is the last shade in the top row. It is an off-white very shimmery color. With just a primer on it looks white with a lot of shimmer but with the white base underneath it you see more of the yellow/off-white that it has. |
This is the first color in the second row. It's a very shimmery silver, and when swatched it, like the copper shade in the first row, comes off looking almost metallic. The payoff with the silver shade is very good, it's a very pigmented shade, and with the base it comes off looking darker and would look good underneath the eye for a smudged smokey look. |
This shade is a kind of navy blue with a lot of shimmer. When swatched you don't really get to see it's true color. It's kind of a dull navy blue that looks faded. But with the base under it you see the shimmers and the true dark navy blue. |
This was a weird shade. It looks like a caramel brown in the pot, but when swatched it comes off as a dark brown. With the base you can see more of the orange-y tones in it, but it still looks more brown than in the pot. |
This shade in the pot looks like a very light peachy-pink. When I swatched this one I was a little disappointed, because without a base under it you don't get that peachy pink color, its just a very light pastel pink. But with the base underneath it you do get its true color to show through. |
This shade is a very shimmery hot pink. When swatched without a base you do get the hot pink color but it's not as bright and "in your face" but with the base underneath it you can see the bright hot pink that you get when you look at the color in the pot. |
This is a periwinkle blue. A very light shimmery blue. When swatched without a base it looks almost exactly how it looks in the pot, and with the white base under it, it looks darker than it does in the pot. |
This shade is a dark plum shade, that looks a lot like the first color in this palette. It is a little bit different, but I don't think its necessary to have two shades that close to each other in color, Swatched both with the base and without it looks almost exactly how it does in the pot, of course with the base it has an extra boost of color. |
This is one of my favorite shades in the palette and I don't think I've used it other than for these swatches, yet. It's a bright matte royal purple. When swatched without a base it looks amazing. Just how it does in the pot and there is no streaky-ness or areas where it didn't stick to the primer or base. |
This shade is a very light lilac purple with a lot of shimmer, but when swatched with the white base under it you get a darker almost blue-violet purple. |
This shade is a blue-toned purple with a lot of shimmers in it. When swatched with the white base it looks like a darker purple shade, a few shades lighter than the royal purple. The royal purple is the shade swatched to the far right of the photo below and this shade is the one highlighted with the red box. |
This is another weird shade. I was really hoping this shade would come off as the really light sky blue that it looks like in the pot, but instead it came off pretty dark and without a base you can see it only showed up nicely on the top and the bottom like the color didn't stick in the middle when I applied it. With the white base it is still darker than I would've liked it to be, but it is a better quality. This shade looks a lot like the two shades that are next to it in the palette when swatched. |
This is the first of the diamond shades. It's a very, very shimmery glitter. When swatched it comes off as a darker blue than it looks like in the pot, but it is still very pretty, and with the white base it looks almost like a glittery royal blue. |
This is the second diamond shade, which is a very glittery purple. When swatched with just the primer on under it, it's a little streaky, but with the white base it is bright and glittery. This shade looks a lot like a glittery version of the royal purple with the base under it. |
This shade looks like a true-gold in the pot and when swatched it has more orange tones in it. It's still a very golden shade, but definitely darker than it looks like in the pot. |
This shade looks like a shimmery burgundy color, but when swatched it comes off looking more like a red-brown, especially with the white base underneath it. |
This shade reminds me of, I think it's called Faint in the Naked Basics palette. It's a very, very dark brown that is completely matte. |
This one reminds me of the periwinkle blue from earlier but it's more purple than blue. When swatched with the white base it looks a lot like the royal purple which a few of the purple shades have turned out looking like. |
This color was another disappointment, and maybe it's just mine. When I was trying to swatch this one, I had to kind of dig into the pot to get pigment. And even then, without a base it didn't show up looking very good. It was kind of streaky and pretty light still for a matte black. With the base, it was still not as dark as I would've liked it to be but it was a little darker. |
Another weird shade. It looks like a nice light brown/tan shade, but when swatched it looks like a chocolate brown. It's a lot darker than it looks like in the pot, and with the base it's even darker. |
This is the third of the four diamond shades. It's a silvery-purple color, which unfortunately when swatched looks almost exactly like the silver shade from the second row, none of the light purple really shows through at all. |
This is the last of the diamond shades. It's a very hot pink that looks a lot like the shimmery hot pink from the second row, only with pink glitter added to it. |
This shade in the pot looks like a little bit darker version of the lilac from earlier, but when swatched it comes off looking like a light grape-juice purple. It looks a lot darker swatched than it does in the pot. And of course even darker with the white base. |
This color is another one of my favorites. It is a bright true-blue color. It swatched looking almost exactly how it did in the pot and with the base it's even brighter. |
And the last shade in this palette is this matte white. When swatched it looks exactly like Nyx's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. |
Overall I think this palette has a lot of colors that look really similar to each other, but the quality of all the shades is really good, especially since the price of the palette was not expensive at all. I think they should have had a little less purples especially with some of them looking almost exactly alike when swatched. But I think this is a really good palette and I will definitely get a lot of use out of it.
I hope that this review was helpful at all to anyone who was thinking about purchasing this palette. It's not a new palette but I thought I'd do a review for it anyway.
