Frankenstein's Monster

Frankenstein's Monster inspired Halloween makeup! This is what I was for actual Halloween. And yes, I did go out in public with it. I went out to eat wearing it and got TONS of compliments.

For the stitches I used actual black thread and it took FOREVER. This entire look took over two hours to do. So if you're planning on doing this look keep that in mind!
For the wound I used Mehron's liquid latex and Mehron's stage blood.
For the monster side of my face I used Mehron's Fantasy x face paint in teal, then used Bh Cosmetics eye shadows to highlight and contour.

And time for some fun edits that make the makeup look even cooler!

As always if you have any questions about this look or anything else please feel free to ask!

Cartoon Makeup

This is my cartoon makeup look! A friend of mine asked if I could recreate this look from a picture he found on Instagram. So I did! I would probably do the tears a little different the next time I create this look, but overall I think it looks really cool! And it was super easy!

If you want to know how I created this look then click here .

For this look I used Nyx's Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk" for the dots all over my face. Bh Cosmetics eyeshadow in blues and whites for my eyes and the tears. And a black liquid liner for the outlines!

If you have any questions about this look feel free to ask!

Queen of Hearts

This is my Queen of Hearts inspired makeup look! Obviously it is not a traditional Queen of Hearts makeup. I used some inspiration to create the face makeup, but then twisted it. And put a big bloody heart on my chest! If you haven't already noticed I like twisting makeups into gorier, creepier looking makeups!

Before anyone asks, I do not own ANY colored contacts. My eyes are black because I edited the picture to make them look black. I would LOVE to have colored contacts especially for Halloween makeup looks, but I cannot afford them.

For the heart I used Mehron's liquid latex to outline the heart, and then Mehron's stage blood to fill in the heart and have it drip down. I also put a little bit of fake blood on my lips and let it drip down a little bit.

All eye shadows I used were by Bh Cosmetics!

Okay so this photo looks amazing. I found a thing on picmonkey where it will lay blood over your picture. and this blood pattern looked awesome.

Little Red Riding Hood

This is my "Little Red Riding Hood" Halloween makeup! I LOVE this. I wanted to do a Little Red where she got attacked, but I still wanted it to look pretty. So I have claw marks on my cheek and chest, a dark dramatic eye makeup, and my red hood :)

I used Mehron's liquid latex to create the claw marks on my face and chest, and for the blood I used Mehron's stage blood! for the irritation around the wounds I used a pink eye shadow. If you have any other question's about this look feel free to ask.

I got my hooded cape from Walmart during Halloween and got lucky to find a red one!

My dress is from ebay. I got very lucky that it actually fit because I did not pay attention to sizes. I just saw it and thought "That would be awesome for little red riding hood. I need it." it's short so I wore pants underneath it.
Thank you Miss Luna-Grace for being patient with me and letting me put my wolf hat on you so you could be "The Big Bad Wolf" in my picture :) You did great! And thank you Mom for being my photographer for this makeup!

The Joker

My Joker! I absolutely love my Joker look. I love the wrinkles and the way the paint is kind of faded and looks like it's wearing off. And the smudged eyes. I love this Halloween makeup so freaking much. The Joker and Harley Quinn are my two favorite Batman villains, or just villains in general. I had so much fun creating this look, and will probably be creating the look again in the future.

I'm sad that I only have one photo that I like of this look. But I'm posting this anyway. Maybe when I recreate the look I'll get some better pictures :)

Anyway! I used Mehron's face paint in white all over my face. I used a drug store black eye liner on my eyes and smudged it out using my fingers. I used a tan eye shadow to create the wrinkles on my forehead and nose and to darken my smile lines. I used Mehron's liquid latex for my gross smile, then used Bh cosmetics lip liner in "Retro" all over my lips and the latex. I also used Mehron's face paint in "Green" in my Hair! It is a little drying but it does not hurt your hair other than that. And if you're worried about your hair changing colors because you color your hair, don't worry about it! I dye my hair all the time and all the green washed out easy. Just use a deep conditioner or leave your conditioner in for a longer time to get your hair moisturized after putting the face paint in your hair.

I hope you guys like this makeup as much as I do :)

Steampunk Inspired Makeup

This is my Steampunk inspired Halloween robot look. If you want to watch the tutorial for this look then click here .

I won't be going through how I created this look in my blog, but if you have any questions feel free to ask! I just wanted to share pictures :)

This is the look without all the crazy face paint everywhere. So you could leave it like this or you could paint your entire face and neck and it will look like the photos below.

I used Mehron's Fantasy X Face Paints in Gold, Copper and Silver. Then Bh Cosmetics eye shadows for the eyes mouth and some shading around the gears.

Demon Mouth

This is my favorite and most popular Halloween makeup tutorial that I have made so far on YouTube. This is my "Demon Mouth" tutorial.

The photo above is an original photo that hasn't been edited. The following pictures however have all been edited and tweaked to make the "Demon Mouth" look more scary. I also edited a few of the pictures to make it look like I have contacts in. So before I get questions about my "Contacts" I don't have any colored contacts. I just edited the picture to make it look like I did. Purely for special effects and to have fun scary looking pictures!

So in this post I'm not going to tell how I did the look, I just wanted to share some of my creepy picture edits:)

This one is by far my favorite. I loved the white eyes with the demon Mouth. And it looks more like the darkness is my mouth than seeing my real mouth under the paint.

This one is more ghostly, which if I could make it a gif and make it all twitchy and stuff it would be awesome. But I have no idea how to do that. If you do, feel free to! And post it to my Facebook, or tag me on Twitter or Instagram!

With this one I just really wanted to use the fire in a picture and since it was a demon look I thought fire was appropriate, like a Hell Demon.

And then I did a Frankenstein inspired edit with a spider web.

Batty Eyes

This look was from October 26th. A friend from work posted the photo to my Facebook and asked me to try to recreate it, so I did!

So this is the look that I did. It was for Halloween! I used Bh Cosmetics Eye Shadow from the "Party Girl - After Hours" Palette, a drugstore liquid liner to make the wing and the bats, my Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in "Milk" For the moon, Bh Cosmetics Lip Liner in Raspberry (I think) on my lips, with the Hot Pink lipstick on top, which was also by Bh Cosmetics, and I forgot the name of it and don't have it on me or I'd tell you it. I also used Bh Cosmetics eye shadows on my lips to make the gradient effect!

The photo is a little blurry, but this is the eye look up close. I used a silver mixed with a little white on my eye lid, then used a purple eye shadow in the crease and up to my eyebrow, then took a pink eye shadow and put that on my brow bone and blended it into the purple to kind of give a gradient effect. I then used a stiff brush and black eye shadow and made the cut crease, took my Nyx Jumbo eye pencil in milk and made the moon, patted white eye shadow on the moon to keep it in place, then went back over the cut crease to make sure it was dark. I put the purple and pink eye shadow underneath my eye as well, making the same gradient that I did on the brow bone.

For my lips I used a hot pink lip liner, then a hot pink lipstick both by Bh Cosmetics. Then took a purple eye shadow and patted (do not swipe it on, it will pull some of the lipstick off, pack it on with patting motions) the shadow on into the corners of my mouth. I then used my finger, (you can use a lip brush if you'd like, I just prefer my finger) to blend the purple and the pink together a little bit so that it would be a gradient.

And that was my look!

Sephora Haul

This is my Sephora Haul <- click there
If you want to see me unbox everything and show all the things I got!
But, if you don't, or you want to see swatches, then keep reading :)

Urban Decay's TEN 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil Set
In the set there is 10 eyeliners, 9 of the eyeliners are the travel sized, and 1 (Perversion) is a full sized eyeliner. You also get a Sharpener for your eyeliners.
This set is $52.00. Which is a little pricey. BUT if you factor in that each full sized Urban Decay pencil costs $20.00, and you really think about it. It is totally worth it. Especially if you're looking to try out a bunch of colors.
The colors in the set are listed in the picture below.
(From Left to Right) Voodoo, Stargazer, Mugshot, Smokeout, Gonzo, Faint, Vacancy, Moonspoon, Glitter Rock, and the full sized Perversion.
These liners are SUPER pigmented, and Perversion is perfect for the waterline especially if you want it to stay all day. All the colors are beautiful! I especially love Stargazer, Smokeout, Vacancy, and Glitter Rock. I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of all the colors though. They are all so beautiful.
My next purchase was This! ->
Urban Decay's Heavy Metal Glitter Liner in "Distortion"
As you can see Distortion is a white or clear glitter with a duo-chrome that reflects all different colors. It was so difficult to get a photo of the swatch of this glitter liner. This is it by itself with just one layer ->

You can add layers if you want or put it over eye shadows, It is an amazing and beautiful glitter liner.
If you are looking for good glitter liners that aren't flakey or wear off after a little while, Urban Decay's glitter liners are where to go!
My next (And last actual purchase) is...

Tarte's "Lights Camera Lashes" 4-in-1 Mascara!
I have not tried this yet, but I have seen other reviews and heard a lot of good things about this mascara so I am going to give it a shot!
The last thing that I got from Sephora was this goody bag or "Season Set".
It is a makeup bag, filled with 8 sample/travel sized items!
There were 3 different choices. I chose the "A Bright Night Out" option. In my Goody Bag, there was

(Top to bottom on the Right) Loveswept Body Lotion, Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Pencil in "Black Velvet" (travel sized), a Chloe perfume sample, Marc Jacob's travel sized sheer lip gloss in "Kissibility", Kat Von D's liquid lipstick in "Bachelorette", Pharrel William's perfume sample in "Girl", Smashbox 24 hour eye shadow primer, and a Lancome mascara
Out of all the goodies in the goody bag, my absolute favorite is Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in "Bachelorette". It is a gorgeous color. And it isn't glossy like a lip gloss. It dries and sets, looking exactly how a lipstick would. The two things I could have done without, (and gave to my mom, because she liked them), were the Loveswept lotion and the Pharrel William's perfume sample. Everything else that I got from the Season Set will get a lot of use. Including the Marc Jacob's lip gloss (even though I don't like lip gloss)

That was everything in my Sephora haul this round! If you have any questions, let me know. I will gladly answer them!

I cannot wait to get started creating looks with all my new eyeliners! I have so many ideas already!
